Themes for Contest Rounds

A few months ago someone asked me to write a post about contest rounds. I have started several times, but finally decided to make a page instead. This page will be subject to adding and change. If you have an idea or questions please feel free to leave a comment!

Some Posts I Have Written About Round Themes:
Creating a Good Theme and Creating a Good Storyline

(Hint: If you think a round theme is to easy, than add requirements to challenge your contestants ability to improvise)

1. Hiking: This round can be staged almost anywhere, which makes it easy to use and do!

2. Parties or Celebrations: From a birthday party to a family cook-off this round can be customized for any kind of contest.

3. Exotic Adventures: Shipwrecked or exploring in Egypt, you can take this theme world-wide.

4. First Day of School: as teacher or student this day is full of first impressions. Let your contestants be creative and maybe even add a required color (aka the 'school' color).

5. Under Cover Agent: This isn't about the sunglasses and wearing black. If you did that, you might get caught. Instead, this is a way to make one of the other round themes a little more fun. Be careful!

6. Date Night: Honestly, the options are endless. You can go to the movies, see a concert, just go to dinner, etc.

7. Girls Night Out: Same as Date Night, but this time it is Girls Only. :)

8. Holidays: this is one theme that should always have requirements, no matter the holiday!

9. Sports: Pick a sport, any sport! Just remember that our closet is somewhat limited when it comes to sporty items.
